Bike Rush Xtreme

Bike Rush Xtreme starts you on a second-hand bike on canyon trails at sunset, which is a polite way of saying the first few races are about hanging on rather than winning. The machine you begin with has no top end to bully anyone with, so early results come from taking corners cleanly instead of from raw speed.

That corner work is where the game lives. Leaning into a turn and easing off before it tightens holds a line that pinning the throttle never will, and the hard brake exists for the moments you misjudge one completely. Each track punishes a different bad habit, so the races settle into a trade between speed and control.

How to play

Build speed on the straights, then get off the power before the turn rather than in the middle of it, because the bike settles far better on a steady throttle than on a panicked one. Leaning into the corner tightens your line, and the hard brake is for a corner you have already entered too quickly. Finishing races moves you up through the events, where the trails get narrower and leave less room for a scruffy line.

Controls

W speeds the bike up and S slows it down. A and D lean the bike left or right as you turn. Spacebar is a quick, strong brake, useful when a corner arrives faster than you expected it to.
