Bubble Warriors

Bubble Warriors takes the bubble shooter apart and rebuilds it as a defence. The wall of bubbles above you is an advancing army, your base is at the bottom of the screen, and matching three or more of a colour is how you stop it.

Two things stop this being a normal match-and-clear. The key is what actually ends a mission, so the bubbles worth firing at are the ones between you and it rather than whatever cluster is easiest. And the iron warriors will not pop for any colour match at all, which means going around them or reaching a bomb or a spike run that clears them for you. The timer pays you back too: whatever seconds you leave on the clock come back as points.

How to play

Aim your bubble at a cluster of the same colour and fire, since three or more touching bubbles burst and take anything hanging beneath them down as well. The wall keeps advancing towards your base while you shoot, so clearing a path towards the key matters more than tidying the board. Iron bubbles ignore colour matches and need a bomb or a spike run to break. Finish quickly and the time you saved is added to your score.

Controls

A mouse or a touchpad runs the whole game. Move the pointer to set the angle of your shot, and click to fire the bubble along that line. On a touchscreen, touching the spot you want to hit aims and fires in one move.
