Crazy Little Eights

Crazy Little Eights takes the card game everyone learned around a kitchen table and puts it on a screen with no setup required. The rule that separates it from ordinary matching games is the eight: play one and you get to name the suit everyone has to follow next, which turns a single card into a small piece of leverage.

You can also drop several cards of the same rank in one move instead of playing them one at a time, which is the fastest way to thin a stuck hand. If the pile opens on an eight, the first play is wide open and any card will do. Whoever clears their hand first wins the round.

How to play

Tap a card in your hand to select it, matching either the rank or suit of the card on top of the central pile. Select several cards of the same rank to play them together in one move. Playing an eight lets you name the next suit. Once you are happy with your selection, tap the check-mark button to confirm the move, or use the sort button to reorder your hand by rank or suit first.

Controls

Tap cards to select them, tap again to deselect. Tap the check-mark button to play your selected cards, and use the sort button in the corner to reorder your hand.
