Cute Virtual Dog

Cute Virtual Dog is the pet you get to keep. It runs through a whole day with one puppy rather than one activity, and the parts connect: the salon comes first, where you cut, style and dye his coat in whatever colour you feel like, then the wardrobe, then the door.

Outside there is a hurdle track, and this is where the game stops being purely decorative. He runs, he jumps and he comes back tired and filthy, which is what the bath is for. Warm water, soap, a rinse and a dry, and the outfit you spent ten minutes assembling is presentable again. Then you can start over with a completely different look.

How to play

Start at the grooming station and work through the tools on screen, trimming and styling the puppy's coat before choosing a dye colour for it. Move on to the wardrobe and try clothes and accessories on him until the look holds together. Take him out to the hurdle track when he is ready, then bring him back for his bath, washing and rinsing him properly before drying him off.

Controls

The mouse handles everything on desktop: click a tool or an item to select it, then click the puppy to use it on him. On a phone or tablet, tap in exactly the same order.
