Extra Ball Chains

Extra Ball Chains takes the familiar match-three shooter and gives it a reason to feel urgent: the balls are not just sitting there waiting to be cleared, they are crawling steadily toward a frog's house, and reaching it ends your run. Every shot is really two decisions - which color to fire and where in the moving chain to land it, since a shot fired a half-second late slots into a different gap than the one you aimed for. Chains bend and speed up as they go, which punishes players who aim at where a color was rather than where it will be. Clearing a big chunk near the front buys more breathing room than a small match near the back, even though the small match looks safer.

How to play

Click or tap toward the moving chain to fire your ball toward it. Match three or more balls of the same color to burst them and shrink the chain. Lead your shot slightly ahead of a moving chain rather than aiming at its current position, and prioritize breaking up the front of the chain over the back - it buys the most distance before the balls reach the house.
