Extreme Volleyball

Extreme Volleyball keeps the net and the court but swaps the ball for something that actively wants to go off. Your robot has to keep a live bomb airborne and moving toward the opponent's side, because the bomb detonates the moment it touches the floor, after it's been hit three times, or once its fuse simply runs out - whichever comes first.

That third rule changes how you play more than the other two. You can't just rally safely forever, since the clock inside the bomb doesn't care how the point is going. The settings menu lets you adjust the bomb count, fuse length, and difficulty, so a slow-fuse match plays completely differently from a fast one with several bombs going at once.

How to play

Move your robot along your side of the court and bounce the bomb over the net toward your opponent. The bomb explodes if it hits the floor, after three total hits, or when its fuse runs out - so you're always working against a clock as well as an opponent. Adjust the number of bombs, fuse length, difficulty, and your robot's starting spot from the settings menu before a match to change how the game plays.

Controls

Left arrow moves your robot left, right arrow moves it right. Up arrow or Space makes it bounce the bomb.
