Happy Winter Jigsaw Game keeps twelve snow-covered scenes locked until you have earned them. Finish one picture and the next appears, so the set builds like a small reward chain rather than a folder of loose puzzles you can shuffle through at random.

Three piece counts change the puzzle more than they change the difficulty label. Twenty-five pieces is a warm-up you can finish in a couple of minutes. Forty-nine starts asking you to sort by colour and edge shape before you place anything. A hundred pieces turns a snowy cottage or a frozen lake into a genuine sit-down session, and by then you are hunting for texture and shading as much as shape.

How to play

Pick a piece count of 25, 49, or 100 before you start, then drag pieces from the tray onto the board. Tap and hold a piece on a touchscreen, or click and drag it with a mouse, to move it into place; it locks in once it sits close enough to its correct spot. Complete the current winter scene to unlock the next one in the set of twelve, and sort out the corners and edges first since they are the easiest pieces to spot at a glance.
