Mad Joker

Mad Joker is a side-scrolling shooter drawn like a comic panel, and it leans into that: you fight your way through cop-controlled streets as a joker-styled antihero with a gun in one hand and a shield you have to time by hand. The shield is the piece that separates careful players from ones who just hold down the trigger - it blocks incoming fire, but only while it's active, so popping it early wastes the window and popping it late gets you hit anyway.

Levels are built around choke points where enemies funnel in from both sides, and standing in the open there is a fast way to lose health you cannot easily get back. Circling toward cover between bursts of shooting matters more than raw aim.

How to play

Move and jump through each level, shooting enemies as they appear from either side. Raise your shield just before an attack lands rather than holding it up constantly - it only blocks while active, so early or late timing both leave you exposed. Use choke points and cover between exchanges rather than standing in open ground, where enemy fire from both directions adds up fast.

Controls

WASD to move and jump, mouse to attack and shoot, F to activate shield. On mobile, use the virtual joystick to move and touch buttons to attack, kick, jump and shield.
