Monster Adventures

Monster Adventures measures a run in distance, and the thing standing between you and more of it is the truck's own weight. Ramps launch you a long way, and how you come down is entirely down to what you did with the tilt controls while you were in the air. Land nose-first and the run stops there.

Flips pay, which is the tension in every jump: rotating for the money costs you the clean landing you were lining up. Bombs sit on the track to punish the lazy line, missions give you something to chase besides raw distance, and the money all funnels back into the garage. Upgrades are the reason a run that died at one ramp gets past it a few attempts later.

How to play

Press space to jump and the left and right keys to tilt the truck, which is what you use to control rotation in the air and to get the wheels pointing down before you land. On a phone the same moves sit on on-screen buttons. Collect money as you drive, take on missions for extra cash, keep clear of the bombs on the track, and spend what you earn in the garage between runs.

Controls

On a computer, space jumps and the left and right keys tilt the truck backwards and forwards - hold one of them in mid-air to steer a flip or to straighten out before touchdown. On a phone or tablet, the same jump and tilt actions are on-screen buttons you tap.
