MycoThreeMemo

MycoThreeMemo turns mushroom picking into a memory test with a twist: the same species does not always look the same twice. Habitat and season change a mushroom's shape and color, so the card you remember from one corner of the forest might not match the one you find in another, and matching purely on visual memory eventually stops working. Reading which details are species markers and which are just local variation becomes the real skill.

Each round drops a limited amount of time onto a forest full of near-identical cards, so speed matters, but a careless click costs more time than a careful look would have. Slower players who study the shapes tend to outlast players who click on instinct, since a wrong guess still has to be undone before the round can continue.

How to play

Search the forest grid and pick mushrooms in groups of three, matching them by species rather than by exact appearance since the same species can look different depending on where it grew. Click or tap a mushroom to flip it, then find its two matches before the timer runs out. Study a shape before committing to a guess, since a wrong pick costs time you may not get back.

Click mushrooms with the mouse on a computer, or tap them directly on a touchscreen. No other input is used.
