Pretzel and the puppies Jigsaw Puzzle

Pretzel and the Puppies Jigsaw Puzzle is a straightforward drag-and-drop jigsaw, and the picture itself is what makes it trickier than it looks. The art is all warm, bright colour, and a lot of the puppies share the same coat tones, so the usual trick of sorting pieces by shade stops helping about halfway through.

What works better here is shape. Find the flat-edged border pieces first, build the frame, then work inward from anything with a strong line running through it - a collar, an outline, the edge of a face. Once the frame is closed the middle fills in far faster than it did at the start.

How to play

Pick up a piece with the mouse and drag it over the board. When it is close to where it belongs, let go and it snaps into position; if it does not, the piece drops back and you can try somewhere else. Start with the straight-edged pieces to close the border, then fill the middle. Pieces that show part of a face or a collar are the easiest anchors to build outward from.

Controls

Drag and drop with the mouse - hold the left button on a piece, move it onto the board and release to drop it. On mobile, press and drag a piece with your finger.
