Restaurant Tycoon

Restaurant Tycoon starts you off with one modest kitchen and lets the ambition build from there. Every bit of profit goes back into the business: another floor, a faster elevator, an upgraded stove, a manager hired to run a section without you standing over it. The restaurant that opens the game bears almost no resemblance to the one you are running an hour later.

What keeps the loop going is that progress does not stop when you close the tab. Your restaurant keeps generating profit while you are away, so coming back means a bigger bankroll and a new decision about where to spend it. Tournaments against other players add a competitive edge once the basics run smoothly on their own.

How to play

Tap on the screen to manage your restaurant, hiring managers to automate sections and spending coins to upgrade your kitchens and elevator. Open new floors as your income grows, and prioritize elevator speed once you have several floors running, since a slow elevator becomes the bottleneck on how many customers you can serve. Come back after time away to collect the profits your restaurant built up while you were gone.
