Dark War

Dark War drops you into a version of the present overrun by something older than it. You play an exorcist from an ancient order, seen from above, cutting through demonic hordes with whatever the fight calls for - a blade in close, a gun when the horde gets too thick to swing at, and magic that turns the tide when both run dry.

The real target on any given map is a gatekeeper demon, and getting to it means clearing everything guarding the way first. Boss fights lean on pattern recognition rather than raw damage - each one has an opening, and finding it before your health runs out is the point. Missions come with in-game task descriptions, so the objective is never a mystery, just the execution.

How to play

Move your exorcist with the on-screen or keyboard controls and approach the demon hordes blocking your path. Switch between your blade for close kills and firearms when enemies close in from range, then fall back on magic when a fight turns against you. Each mission lists its objective on screen, and clearing the demons guarding a gatekeeper unlocks the boss fight itself. Watch a boss's attack pattern before committing to an all-out assault.

Controls

WASD or arrow keys to move your character, mouse to aim and fire, left click to attack with melee or ranged weapons, and number keys or on-screen buttons to cast magic abilities. Touch controls appear automatically on mobile.
