DollWar2 sets a war across a pseudo-historical 19th century Europe and then hands the muskets to majorettes, which tells you most of what you need to know about its tone. The map underneath the joke is a serious one though - an isometric grid of cells you take one at a time, with hiring, unit building, reinforcement and diplomacy all pulling at the same budget.
Turns come and go quickly, but the decisions do not. An army moves along cells, so distance is measured in turns rather than seconds, and a force sent to the wrong side of the map is out of the war for a while. Winning cells is easy; keeping the ones you already hold reinforced is what usually decides the map.
How to play
Play in turns on the isometric map. Click a cell marked in your colour to open its menu - on an empty cell that means creating and hiring an army, and on a cell that already holds one it opens the management options instead, for reinforcing, moving or attacking from there. Armies travel cell by cell, so plan a march several turns before you need the troops. Everything works by clicking or by dragging, whichever you prefer.
Controls
Click or drag to play. Clicking a cell in your colour opens the army creation menu when the cell is empty, or the army management menu when an army is already standing there.
