FlapThe Bird

FlapThe Bird is built around one input and one decision, repeated for as long as you can keep it up: tap, and the bird rises; wait, and it drops. Every obstacle asks the same question at a slightly different height, so the run lives or dies on how consistent your timing stays once the gaps start arriving faster than you can think about them.

Three lives give you a little room to misjudge a tap without ending the run outright, but they burn through quickly once the pace picks up. The best runs come from small, repeated taps that hold a steady altitude rather than big flaps that send the bird bouncing between the ceiling and the ground.

How to play

Tap or click the screen to make the bird flap and rise a short distance, and stop tapping to let it fall back down. Line up each flap with the gap in the next obstacle before it arrives, since tapping too late or too early both send the bird into a collision. You have three lives, so a mistimed hit costs one rather than ending the run immediately. Keep flying and dodging to push your score as high as possible before all three are gone.
