Frog Leap 3D

Frog Leap 3D puts you in control of a nimble frog picking a path across floating islands, where the game is precision jumping rather than reflexes. Gaps between platforms vary just enough that a jump a beat too early or late sends the frog into the void, with no partial credit for almost making it. Coins along the route reward the paths that take the risky line over the safe one.

The run spans three settings - a grove, a deep forest, and a volcano - and each changes the shape of the platforming, not just the scenery, with tighter jumps and more hazards the further the islands sit from solid ground. Checkpoints break harder stretches into pieces, so a fall costs the current sequence, not the whole level.

How to play

Move the frog with the movement keys and press jump to leap across gaps between floating platforms. Use the mouse to look around and line up tricky jumps before committing. Coins along the route are optional, but grabbing them usually means taking the harder line across a gap rather than the safe one. Missing a jump drops the frog into the void and sends you back to the last checkpoint, so plan the landing before you leap.

Controls

W, A, S, D or the Arrow Keys to move, Spacebar to jump, and the mouse to look around. On mobile, use the on-screen joystick to move, the jump button to leap, and drag the screen to look around.
