Railways Train Simulator Game

Railways Train Simulator Game is less about speed than about respecting how much train you're actually moving. A loaded engine takes far longer to slow down than it looks like it should, so the run to a parking mark starts well before the mark is even in view. Misjudge the braking point and you either stop short or roll straight past the spot the mission needed.

Missions send the same engine through mountain passes, tight yards and passenger platforms, and each setting changes how much room you get to correct a mistake. A mountain grade that helps you brake on one run will drag you past the mark on the next if you don't adjust for it. Getting a train to stop cleanly, every time, on rails that never sit still under you, is the whole appeal.

How to play

Pick a route, then drive the engine along the track toward the marked parking spot, braking early enough that the train's weight doesn't carry it past the mark. Watch the gradient - trains brake differently on an incline than on flat track. A clean stop inside the marked zone completes the mission; overshooting or clipping the platform means trying the approach again.

Controls

W or Up Arrow to accelerate, S or Down Arrow to brake and reverse, A and D or Left and Right Arrow to steer where track switches allow. All menu buttons are mouse-click only.
