Space Prospector

Space Prospector turns mining into a balancing act between greed and fuel gauges. You fly a small jet-powered craft through a cave system, scooping up gems worth different amounts depending on color and gold coins that double whatever points you have already banked once they reach base.

Every trip is a judgment call. Fly further for a better haul and you burn more fuel getting back, and a ship that runs dry or takes too much damage cannot finish the run at all. Points earned on a successful delivery buy fuel and repairs, so an efficient early trip pays for a riskier one later - the players who bank steadily beat the ones who chase every gem in sight.

How to play

Fly your ship through the cave, collecting gems and gold coins, then return to base to bank the points. Gold coins double whatever points you already have when delivered, so save one for after you have collected several gems rather than cashing it in first. Watch your fuel gauge - running out strands you mid-flight, and points from safe deliveries buy fuel and hull repairs.

Controls

Left Arrow to fire the side thruster and fly left, Right Arrow to fire the side thruster and fly right, Up Arrow or Space to fire the main engine and fly up. On mobile, use the on-screen thruster buttons.
