Subway Egyptian

Subway Egyptian is a running game that never lets you stop, set loose in an Egyptian city where the track runs from the street into a 3D train station and out again. Buses, scooters and the rails themselves are all in your way, and the only decisions you get are which lane to be in and when to leave it.

There is a roster of characters to run as rather than a single hero, so the runner you start with is a choice too. What makes the later stretches hard is not any new obstacle; it is speed. The same swerve you made comfortably in the first minute needs to be made earlier, and then earlier again.

How to play

Pick a character, then keep your runner alive by moving between the lanes as the obstacles come. Buses, scooters and trackside clutter all end a run on contact, so read what is ahead rather than reacting to what is already close. Changing lane a beat too late is the same as not changing at all, so commit early. Nothing here ends on its own; the run lasts exactly as long as you keep dodging cleanly.

Controls

The arrow keys move your runner from one side of the track to the other, and the mouse steers the same way if you would rather play with it. Nothing else is needed once the running starts.
