Super Mario Connect Puzzle fills the board with blocks stamped with faces and items from the Mario world, and asks for one thing: draw a line between two that carry the same pattern and both disappear. The rule takes a second to learn. The board is what makes it hard, because it rearranges itself around every clear you make.

Stages only end when the board is completely empty, not when the timer is beaten, so a pair cleared carelessly can strand a lone block with no partner left. That is where the game gets its grip: you start planning the order of your clears rather than taking whichever match you spot first. Speed matters as well, since finishing early carries time into what comes next.

How to play

Look for two blocks showing the same pattern and drag from one to the other to link them; both leave the board when the line connects. Keep going until nothing is left, since a stage ends on an empty board rather than on a score. Watch the clock at the top while you work. Before clearing an easy pair, check that neither block is the last partner some other block has.

Controls

Connecting is a drag, not a click: press on one block, pull the line across to its match, and release. The line follows your finger or cursor, so you can see the connection before committing to it. The board sits in portrait, which keeps every block inside a thumb's reach on a phone.
