Connect Master

Connect Master is a tile-pairing puzzle where the question is never which tiles match but whether you can get from one to the other. Spotting the pair is easy; finding two with a lane still open between them is the game, and a board that looks half solved can lock up because every remaining twin is walled in.

The skins are what stop it blurring together. One board is a village, the next a sunny beach, then an icy animal kingdom, a magic forest, a desert - same rules, different art, arriving about when the layouts start to feel familiar. Relaxing to sit with, but the tighter boards will punish you for taking every easy pair the moment you see it.

How to play

Look for two identical tiles and select one after the other to link them. If a clear path can be drawn between the pair, both leave the board. Tiles around the outer edges are the safest to take first, since removing them opens lanes into the crowd in the middle. Work from the outside in, and watch which designs are down to their last pair before you seal them off behind everything else.

Controls

Click a tile and then its twin on a computer, or tap the two in turn on mobile. The connecting line is drawn for you when a path exists, and no keyboard is used.
