Cheerful Challenge

Cheerful Challenge keeps the mechanics of a tile matcher familiar and lets the animal art carry the personality. Rows of animal blocks fill the board, and a swipe pulls compatible tiles into a match, clearing them and settling the rest downward. Nothing about the swipe itself is complicated, which is the point - the game wants you thinking about which cluster to clear next rather than fighting the controls. Power tools sit off to the side for the levels where the board locks up on you, useful for breaking a stuck pattern rather than something to lean on every round. It plays in short bursts as easily as long ones, which suits a puzzle built around small, satisfying clears rather than one long grind.

How to play

Swipe across two or more matching animal tiles to clear them from the board. Clearing tiles drops the ones above into the empty space, so look for a swipe that sets up your next match rather than just the nearest one. When a level gets crowded and no easy match is left, use one of the power tools to break up the board instead of shuffling tiles around for no gain.
