The Memory Matrix

The Memory Matrix wraps a straightforward memory test in a small rescue story: Rai has to cross a river to reach a kidnapped friend, and the bridge is the only way over. Each crossing shows you a set of blocks for a few seconds before they go quiet, and picking the wrong one after that sends Rai into the water and ends the run.

What makes it more than a simple repeat-the-pattern game is the pressure of watching closely the first time, since there is no second look once the blocks stop lighting up. Short sequences feel forgiving, but as the river gets longer, one lapse in attention is the difference between reaching the other bank and starting over.

How to play

Watch the bridge blocks light up in order at the start of each crossing, then tap or click the same blocks in that order to help Rai cross the river safely. A wrong pick drops Rai into the water and restarts the level, so wait for the full sequence to finish before you touch anything. Longer sequences appear as you progress, so treat every flash as one you need to remember, not skim.
