Fisherman Fortune has a simple promise behind it: Henry needs a good catch to bring home to Erica, and the sea decides how good. Different fish are worth different amounts, and the bigger ones pay properly, so playing safe with whatever swims closest keeps you afloat but never gets you anywhere near the next level.
The bomb is what makes greed expensive. It drifts among the fish like anything else out there, and catching it once is the end of the run, not a dent in your score. So every promising fish carries a second question - what else is in the water on the way to it - and the players who get furthest will let a good catch swim past when the timing is wrong.
How to play
Watch the fish moving through the water and go for them as they come into reach, aiming for the larger ones because the reward scales with size. Keep half an eye on the bomb drifting among them; collecting it ends your run outright, whatever you had earned up to that point. Build up enough of a catch and the next stretch of sea opens, where the fish are worth more and the water is busier, so the same restraint gets harder to hold onto.
Controls
One input covers the whole game. On a computer, click the mouse to reach out and collect a fish; on a phone or tablet, touch anywhere on the screen to do the same. Nothing else is needed, so the skill is entirely in choosing the moment to commit.
