Mini Soccer

Mini Soccer strips football down to what actually makes small-screen matches fun: quick touches, tight fields, and no waiting around for the action to start. You pick a player from a roster of well-known teams, then jump straight into a tournament against the CPU or a head-to-head match against a friend sharing the same keyboard.

The three fields change the pace more than you would expect from such a simple setup - tighter spaces reward quick passing and timed jumps over CPU defenders, while the open field lets a fast run down the wing actually pay off. Because a friend can join on the same keyboard, it works as well for a quick one-on-one as it does for a longer tournament run against the computer.

How to play

Choose your player, then pick tournament mode to face the CPU across three fields or versus mode to play a friend on the same keyboard. Move your player toward the ball and use the jump and hit controls to challenge for it and shoot on goal. Score more goals than your opponent before the match ends to win.

Controls

Versus CPU: Right and Left Arrows move, Up Arrow jumps, Z and X hit the ball. Two players: Player 1 uses the Arrow keys to move and Z/X to hit, Player 2 uses W, S, A, D to move and 1/2 to hit.
