Sonic Speedway

Sonic Speedway is a hill climb racer where the road itself is the opponent. Instead of rival cars, you are fighting slopes, ramps and loose obstacles while trying to keep a heavy truck from tipping over backwards on a steep grade. Momentum matters more than raw speed, since gunning it up a hill without enough run-up just stalls you halfway.

Ramps send the truck airborne, and landing flat rather than nose-first is the difference between rolling on and losing your run. Coins scattered along the route add to your score without slowing you down, so the best runs balance grabbing them against staying on the fastest line up the hill.

How to play

Drive the truck up each hill, balancing your weight so it neither flips backward on a steep climb nor noses forward off a ramp. Collect coins along the route to raise your score, but only when doing so does not cost you your line. Momentum carries you through the toughest slopes, so build up speed before a climb rather than gunning it partway up.

Controls

Right Arrow or D to accelerate, Left Arrow or A to brake and reverse. Use the same keys in the air to tilt the truck and land safely off ramps. On mobile, tap the on-screen gas and brake buttons.
