Cavern Monsters

Cavern Monsters starts out looking like any other match-three game and then stops being polite about it. Swipe to connect monsters that share a shape, clear them off the board, and open the next level - simple enough for the first few boards, which is exactly the point.

Past that opening stretch the difficulty climbs quickly. Boards get busier, moves get tighter, and connecting three monsters in a hurry stops being enough; you start planning two or three swipes ahead to set up a bigger chain before the board locks you out. It rewards patience over speed, and a single careless swipe can cost you a level you were about to clear.

How to play

Swipe between two neighboring monsters to connect them - matching three or more of the same shape clears them from the board and scores points. Chain several connections together in one move for a bigger score and faster progress. Each level has a target to hit before you run out of moves, so look for the biggest available chain instead of clearing the nearest match first.

Controls

Swipe with a finger on a touchscreen or click and drag with the mouse on a computer to connect matching monsters. No keyboard is needed - every move happens with a single swipe or drag across the board.
