Safari Match

Safari Match drops a block puzzle onto the savanna and builds its boards out of animals rather than the usual gems. The opening stretch of levels is generous with you, teaching the board without punishing a wasted move, and it sits comfortably on a phone held in one hand.

Boosters are where the difficulty is really settled. Later boards hand you fewer usable blocks and a target that plain matching will not reach, so a run turns into earning a booster and picking the moment to spend it rather than hunting one more group. With hundreds of levels behind it, the game has the room to raise its demands a little at a time instead of all at once.

How to play

Select groups of matching animal blocks to clear them and work toward the goal shown at the top of the level. A large group pays better than several small ones, so it is usually worth scanning for the bigger cluster before you commit. Boosters unlock as you play and are best held back for a board that has stopped offering matches, since spending one on an easy layout throws it away.

Controls

Click blocks with the mouse on a computer, or tap them on mobile, to select and match them. A booster is used by selecting its icon and then the spot on the board, and no keyboard is needed.
